The AIDA demonstration
which you can view from these Web pages is also accessible as a demo program
(called AIDADEM.EXE). This demo, which is self-explanatory, can be freely
distributed - without any restrictions.
Please note - the demo only
runs on IBM compatible PCs or on Apple Macs running SoftWindows or Virtual PC. For IBM users it requires a 386 / 486 / Pentium based PC machine running DOS v3.3 or later with at least 640Kb of free memory, and a VGA colour graphics display. The demo may not work properly on PCs fitted with an S3 graphics adapter, due to insufficient
memory being available.
The file which will be
downloaded is called AIDADEM.EXE This is a self- expanding compressed archive
file which takes up approximately 305Kb of hard disk storage space. The
AIDADEMO.EXE demonstration program that it generates at runtime takes up 360Kb
of disk storage space.
Running AIDADEMO.EXE will
provide a demonstration of what AIDA can do.
